Zyban prescription: safest way to get the drug Zyban is a drug used as an aid for smoking cessation, and sometimes, as treatment for obesity. This is also why the sustained release variety was also made. A Zyban prescription is also not advisable for intake by those who are taking other drugs that also lower or inhibit CYP2B6. Such medications include diazepam, paroxetine, sertraline, norfluoxitine, orphenadrine, and more. When taken in very large doses it can cause hypertension, sinus tachycardia, visual hallucinations, lethargy, and more. A few cases have been reported about generic Zyban overdose causing death. As the drug is also known to sometimes cause seizures, nicotine patches are preferred. The side effects The most common side effects include dry mouth, insomnia, hallucinations, increased depression, seizures, hypertension, drowsiness, nausea, sinus tachycardia, vomiting and many more. These conditions, however, can be prevented by proper usage and adherence to intake prescriptions.
